Hearthstone[ | ]

Forsen was one of the most popular Hearthstone streamers in the world. His community has developed into an online cult following with a huge number of inside jokes. Forsen has said that he does not consider his "Forsenboys" an army and does not hold himself accountable for their actions. He also said he shouldn't be credited for their successes either. He thinks of them as a loyal fanbase and nothing more.[1]

He stated in October 2015 that he was no longer amused by playing Hearthstone because of the game's hard shift to RNG meta, meaning that random chance and luck now play a much larger role in determining a winner.[1] "Because the game doesn’t really amuse me anymore at all. It’s too much RNG. I come from StarCraft II where it’s all about skill, and I play Hearthstone and get rekt by some guy who’s getting lucky you know? 10 levels beneath me in skill." He did however say that this doesn't reflect negatively on his opinion of the game in general. "The more RNG there is, the more casual the game is—and the more casual the game is, the more viewers it has. So it’s a good thing for the community. I don’t personally enjoy it, but I enjoy having a big community around Hearthstone, because that’s the main game I stream." [1]

Biography[ | ]

He played StarCraft II where his highest achievement was reaching the final group stage at the DreamHack Stockholm 2012 tournament where he was eliminated after playing in a three-way-tiebreaker series in what was considered the hardest group, with two top Korean players and SaSe.

In Hearthstone, Forsen's first team was ManaGrind. He played for them since their creation in January to their disbandment in August 2014. Forsen was considered one of the best "Miracle Rogue" players in the game, a deck with which he achieved Rank 1 on both the European and North American servers (only falling to second place on the American servers shortly before the server went down) in the third season of ranked play in 2014. He has been teamless since team ManaGrind's dissolution in August, mainly focusing on his stream on twitch.tv which gained a following during his Miracle Rogue days and has continued to grow into one of the biggest Hearthstone streamers.
